Curtis Dean

Curtis Dean is a dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic and Lieutenant with 16 years of experience in fire and EMS, proudly serving the Southwest Florida community where he was born and raised. Known for his leadership and commitment to excellence, Curtis brings a wealth of real-world experience to both emergency response and training.

He is also a highly experienced American Heart Association instructor with 10 years of teaching experience. Curtis is certified to teach a full range of AHA courses, including Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and is passionate about empowering others with lifesaving skills and confidence in critical situations.

In addition to his field experience, Curtis has spent over five years working in a children’s hospital as a Critical Care Paramedic, further strengthening his expertise in high-acuity patient care.

Outside of work, Curtis enjoys spending time with his wife and their young daughter. He stays active by working out and can often be found watching sports and cheering on the Gators. Above all, Curtis takes pride in making a positive impact in the community he calls home.
